The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) develops and publishes International Standards.

All ISO standards contribute to the achievement of all the SDGs to an extent. Each company by adopting an ISO standard, framework, or guideline can contribute to one or more SDGs.

There are standards that address directly sustainability issues, such as Environment, Corporate governance, Corporate social responsibility, etc.

Each of these standards either assists organizations with the implementation of management systems so that they can contribute to sustainability issues and improve their performance or provide guidance on best practices so that organizations can make solid contributions to sustainable development.
